Dr. Benjamin Pham
Dr. Benjamin Pham or “Dr. Ben” enjoys seeing the kids with a smile on their face, even at the dentist! He hopes to provide an environment where the kid’s feel relaxed and safe. He understands that every child is different and will try to make them as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Ben is originally from the SF Bay, where he learned how to walk, read comic books and build robots. After the fun years he went on to obtain his BS in Human Biology from University of California, San Diego. It was there that his road in dentistry began – working as a student manager of a Free Dental Clinic for the underserved of San Diego. He completed his Dental Degree (DMD) in Bahston, coming down to thaw in Brooklyn while working as a Resident in a Trauma 1 center. (This is where he met Dr. Kristen) While working in the hospital he realized that the key to good oral health starts at a young age and wanted to focus on educating his patients about how Oral Health is just like all health – it starts with habits in childhood with the educated help of those who raise these children.
As a big kid at heart he completed his Pediatric Dentistry Residency at New York University, where the focus is on an educational training in preventative and restorative dentistry on children, adolescents and patients with special health needs. Finally he completed his two-step Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Throughout Dr. Ben has made time to continue serving the underserved overseas through dental mission trips. Not only are these trips rewarding but Dr. Ben can also experience life abroad. He has enjoyed visiting Mexico, Honduras, Grenada and the South Pacific Islands and hopes to be able to work in other underserved countries in the future.
In his free time Dr. Ben likes to snuggle with his little pal, Albus! Or you can find him obsessing about golf, watching comic book movies, or going out to drive something fast.
Dr. Kristen Yu

Dr. Kristen was born and raised in NY. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Stony Brook University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. She had always enjoyed working with children when volunteering but it was her pediatric dental rotations that inspired her to continue her post-graduate education in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Kristen’s Specialty Pediatric Dental hospital training was completed at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she gained a wide range of experiences providing care for all children, including those with special needs. Dr. Kristen continued treating pediatric patients in private practice for the families in Long Island, NY and obtained her board certification. She made the move to Oregon with Dr. Ben after an awesome visit filled with delicious food and beautiful treelines and has not looked back.
Dr. Kristen enjoys trying out new hobbies such as drawing, painting, and golf but most of all; she enjoys family time with her husband Ben and furbaby Albus.
Erica's experience shines when interacting with the kids of our practice. She has been a dental assistant since 2006! She truly shines in making genuine connections with the kids by providing a comfortable environment for them and their families. You will probably run into Erica around town. She is a native Oregonian that may have even gone to the same schools as your kids here in West Linn. She has the amazing asset of being able to relate to families as her very own family lives locally. Along with her husband and three boys, she loves to spend time in local parks, attend family activities and explore all the greatness the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
